What is Peak Performance Pathway?
Peak Performance Pathway is a program Amanda designed to bring you from the place you sit now, where your health obstacles are controlling how you live, or do not live your life, to a place where you are in control of your life and operating at your peak performance levels.
Peak Performance Pathway is a program that Amanda will tailor to your needs and will combe functional medicine treatment, behavior coaching, and BodyTalk to bring your body, mind and energetic body into balance. By bringing all of these into balance together you can truly break free from your health obstacles!

Amanda will tailor Peak Performance Pathway to your specific needs and your program will combine functional medicine treatment, behavior coaching, and BodyTalk.

What is functional medicine?
Functional medicine strives to uncover the true causes of your chronic diseases and other health issues. When we do this we will address the root cause of the disease and not merely treat the symptoms! In this way we won’t just cover up your health problems, we will restore health to your body for good!
If you have been suffering from a health ailment for a long time, if you have been told that your labs are “normal”, if you just plain do not feel good most days and do not know why; a functional medicine approach could help you! If you want to be proactive about your health and reduce the need for medications then we can help with customized supplement programs, customized diets, health coaching, and lifestyle changes.
Functional medicine is about getting to the bottom of what is causing your health issues and educate you on how to restore health so your symptoms will go away. We look at your body as a whole, not piece by piece. For example, if you came to see us with migraines, our job is to analyze your symptoms and lab work to see what is causing the migraines. We would suggest some diet, lifestyle, and supplement changes to help rid of the migraine pain as well as changes to help heal what is causing the migraines, so the migraines will eventually go away for good. We are not doctors; we are not here to diagnose and treat, but rather to restore health!
How do you find the "root cause" to my health obstacles?
Amanda utilizes training from many certifications to uncover the “root cause” to your health concerns.
Lab work (blood and saliva) – analyzed from a functional medicine perspective
Symptoms – a lengthy symptom questionnaire – your symptoms often tell her WAY more than the labs do!
Listening to you and your body. Listening to your story and your walk through life can tell Amanda a lot about what is going on inside of you. By combining the training she has in the human body and how it operates and her coaching and BodyTalk training she can often pinpoint the “root cause” just by listening.
What is behavior coaching?
Do you wish you knew what makes you…you? Do you ever wonder why you behave the way you do?
Behavior coaching from helps us understand our internal wiring that has us on autopilot. We are usually reacting to the world around us without thinking about how we reacted, and we usually don’t know WHY we reacted the way we did. Once we see how this works, we can rewire.
Behavior coaching is a framework for transformational development, offering each of us the opportunity to explore our core motivations and inherent gifts. Through this process, people become aware of their own autopilot patterns (internal wiring) of seeing and reacting to people and situations. Equipped with this self-awareness, our clients are able to make conscious choices that inevitably bring out their best and the best in others.
This process is amazing for its ability to help clients find more self-awareness, tools for their relationships, and insight into their typical ways of coping with stress.
It can be an uncomfortable process at first, it will make you recognize some unhealthy patterns in your life. However, it will also help you put words to parts of yourself that you had never been able to describe, which will help you feel seen and understood.Behavior coaching is helping people see themselves with astonishing clarity, heal from toxic behavior patterns, improve their most important relationships, and more!

What is BodyTalk?
BodyTalk is a complementary therapy based on the theory that the body has the wisdom to heal itself. BodyTalk communications are based on neuromuscular biofeedback. Through these communications, the BodyTalk practitioner identifies “energy circuits” within the body that are weakened, stressed, blocked, or broken. Through these communications the practitioner can also identify emotions and past traumas that are trapped in the body, often these are the cause of the weakened and broken down “energy circuits”. The BodyTalk system will not only identify all of this, but it will bring these issues into the awareness of the brain, allowing the body to generate a healing process that will begin to heal the body and emotional trauma.
BodyTalk integrates the latest discoveries from science, physiology, genetics, psychology, quantum physics and ancient wisdom of eastern medicine to help reconnect lines of healthy communication within all levels of the body-mind.
Health challenges arise for a variety of reasons. BodyTalk practitioners are trained to look at the whole-person: emotional, physical and environmental influences – the true underlying causes of “dis-ease” can be revealed.
What is a BodyTalk session like?
BodyTalk uses a gentle and relaxing form of neuromuscular biofeedback (muscle checking) and gentle tapping on specific energy points that redirect your body’s healing energy.
During the entire session, you will be lying face up on a massage table, fully clothed or the session can be done with the person seated or virtually via phone or zoom. The BodyTalk practitioner will muscle check for priorities using a protocol chart that acts as a guide. This protocol chart is a helpful map of the body’s physical, emotional and energetic systems.
Your neuromuscular biofeedback responses guide the session, bringing awareness to your natural healing system and directs energy to areas that are out of balance. BodyTalk involves gentle tapping on the head and on the sternum/heart center as well as the client contacting specific energy points. All of the techniques can be done without physical contact on the body so people who are sensitive to touch enjoy BodyTalk for this reason.
